About Me
My name is Jennifer Hall. I grew up in the East San Fernando Valley and attended LAUSD schools for elementary school. I graduated from Saint Genevieve High School in Van Nuys. I then attended college at CSUN where I received my BA in Liberal Studies.
I began teaching in LAUSD in 2001 at Van Nuys Elementary. I started my career by teaching first grade and then left the classroom for two years to take a position as the Intervention Coordinator. With that position, i honed my skills at enriching studies for students that were struggling to meet the standards and learned how to differentiate instruction. I am now really looking forward to returning to the classroom full time as a Kindergarten teacher.
I was married in 2002 to my husband whom I met at CSUN and is currently an Elementary Principal in Simi Valley Unified School District. We have two children together. Our oldest son is currently a second grader and our youngest boy has just started pre-school. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as cooking, reading, and hiking.
